We live in a townhome and have a teansy tiny backyard, but gardening in pots is my kind of gardening anyway. I'm hoping to plant some more veggies and herbs this year in my pots so I can just go to the back yard to gather my salad instead of the market. There are so many colorful and pretty products for gardening these days, especially since the trend is organic and grow your own. The Balcony Gardener has some very pretty graphic seed packets and these new eco watering can bottle adaptors.
Any advice you'd like to offer me in the area of gardening would definately be welcomed.

Adorable products and post. I would love to help, if you need answers feel free to ask. (If I don't know the answer, I probably will know someone who does.) My mom and grandfather taught me everything I know about gardening. I love it!! xoxo
(the vision is coming back...thanks for your awesome notes to me!! That and your prayers mean a ton to me. Thank you!!)
I love that hose! And the wellies on the front of the girls' gardening book. Who says you can't garden and be cute & stylish, right?
My husband is the gardener in our family but I'm slowly learning alongside him. We have a huge herb garden and in the summer I love the fresh tomatoes, peas, zucchini, spinach... Yum!
Good luck with your patio garden. I think grape tomatoes are definitely the way to go!
The books look so great!!! and that hose is beautiful =D I have to get started on my backyard, its still a hot mess.... I need to stop talking about it and get to work!! LOLs... have a lovely day my friend!!!
those are such cute projects! definitely some good inspiration to get out there and get planting. good luck!
Erin (my dear old friend) has typed most of what I was about to say to you! Hee hee
I adore those daisy wellies on the front of 'The Girls Guide to Growing Your Own'! And I too would start with tomatoes but when I was teaching a 4/5 yr old class we grew salad potatoes in big tubs and that was an easy start too.
xx
What a beautiful lime hose! I am not too great with gardening....but I do have flowers every year!
The only advice I can give you, is to not over water it! (I tried that and I learned my lesson...)
Kisses and happy planting :)
BTW: thanks for your beautiful comments! Love them!
You're right, we are thinking very alike today! I like the book you posted here, A slice of organic life, I'll have to check it out. Good luck with your gardening plans (hope you share what you come up with!).
Your blog inspires me! :) I want to have pots of herbs but can't figure out where to put them so that my cat won't eat them. We live in a townhome also and have a screened in porch. I thought about on a table out there, but my cat goes out there and would probably get to them. Any creative ideas, please share! :) Btw, happy 1 yr of blogging!!
Thanks for visiting my blog Melissa, which allowed me to discover your wonderful blog! I'd love to garden...my first few attempts were't successful & I will try again this summer. I love those watering gadgets that attach to any bottle! Have a fun weekend :)
I love the hose...and all of the products by alice supply company!
