I am grateful for Balloons!

Monday, November 2, 2009

If you have been visiting this blog for awhile now you might have noticed that I really like balloons.  Balloons evoke a feeling of happiness and joy for me.  When I see them I see fun and family and friends and surprises.  This is what makes me grateful for balloons.

I was visiting the blog Great Full Day today and was happy to see a little exersize she started in honor of Thanksgiving called Twenty Six Days of Gratitude.  Since there are 26 days from November 1st until Thanksgiving and 26 letters in the alphabet, each day will represent a letter of the alphabet and a day to be grateful for something that starts with that letter.  I love this idea and the Thanksgiving holiday and have been thinking about ways to incorporate this into my blog as well, so in keeping with the theme of being grateful, I have a little surprise I will be introducing here this Friday that I think you might like.

So, in the mean time Lindsey has invited us to participate in the exersize of gratitude with her. Just add this button to your site and let's share our gratitude together.

What a fantastic idea, along with Marta's thankful post - really adds meaning to this time of year. Even if we do not celebrate Thanksgiving here in UK it is great every so often to say thank you.
I would love to say I adore Balloons but I have a real balloon phobia! Cannot stand them near me - shame I think they look so pretty in pictures though!
Thank you for popping over to my blog too. xx
