I was on etsy today and noticed a little trend in the colors of my favorites. I didn't do it on purpose, it just seemed to end up that way. Do you ever notice that you seem to be attracted to different colors in different seasons and that sometimes the colors you're attracted to seem to come in trends? Color has always had a big impact on me. What it means and how it makes people feel has always intrigued me. I worked for The Boeing Company for 15 years and 12 of those years was in a group, called Color and Material. The job was not neccesarily a creative job, it was all technical, but I did deal with color a lot, on a daily basis of course, and I became quite an expert at being able to tell you if a certain colored part had red, yellow or blue undertones and if it was just one shade different from another. I noticed trends in the colors that the Airlines would pick for their Airplanes, and how those colors would differ from country to country. The colors we are attracted to differ according to our personalities, our moods and where we are from. I guess I'm really attracted to these aqua blue and harvest gold colors right now. What colors are you tending towards right now?

I do the same thing with liking certain colors, based on the season & my mood. Sounds like an interesting job you used to have, too. I never thought about all the intricacies involving colors & undertones!
Color psychology plays a big roll in our everyday life. I am really loving turquoise right now.
