My two favorite seasons are spring and fall. I love them because they remind me of fresh new beginnings and seasons to come. It's a time when flowers bloom and leaves show their real colors. I love how the Lord gives us the seasons as a preparation to let us know when to plant and when to bring in the harvest, and when to open our windows or when to start bundling up. During this fall season he paints us beautiful pictures with different shades of red, orange, yellow, purple, green and brown. When the seasons change from summer to fall I like to warm up my home with pillows, candles, blankets and flowers, change my purse, eat and drink things made with carmel and snuggle up on the sofa with a warm fuzzy blanket. Here's a few things on my to do list to get ready for the season.
Find just the right
calendar for the new year.
Get out my favorite winter
purse that my best friend knitted for me.
Would love to snuggle up with this
blanket from
Pottery Barn.
Eat lots of Washington
Apples and enjoy the outdoors.

Melissa, I like this post & your thoughts on preparing for seasons. (And that office photo really puts me in the mood to organize mine, too).

A nubby bag, a warm blanket (not to mention cute dog!) CARAMEL CAKE - oh this post is glorious! Ha! And that big clear chair reminds me of a martini glass!
wow, thank you so much melissa, for your prayers! Care Net and the Pregnancy Care Center seem to be a lot alike (based on Care Net's website, anyway). that's great that you're there! are you an employee or volunteer?
i agree, it's so neat to meet other believers online. it's so nice to get encouragement in unexpected places. i look forward to getting to know you better too! :) have a great week!
:)
Isn't fall so motivating? More so than the new year I think!
These things are all on my list too. I love the office space. I desperately need to spruce up mine.
Yay Washington! Me too.
