It's just not a party without a little garland. Merrilee made these invites for her tea party with a little decorative tape and a sewing stitch across the top.

Those would make fun wedding invites! My cousin just got married at a lake and had beautiful garlands (buntings) strung between two posts. I loved it! xoxo
